We believe that…

  1. There is one God who is the creator of heaven and earth. He exists eternally as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
  2. Scripture is inspired by God and is trustworthy and truthful. It has supreme authority in all matters of our faith and conduct.
  3. God’s sovereignty and grace are displayed in how He created the universe, how events unfold, and how He reveals truth in Scripture.
  4. Jesus Christ is the Savior of mankind. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He is fully God and fully man.
  5. Mankind was created and tested and has fallen into Sin. We are totally spiritually depraved and unable to attain the righteousness that God requires.
  6. Jesus Christ died for our sins. He was buried and raised on the third day.
  7. Our salvation is only possible because Christ died in our place.
  8. Believers in Christ are commanded to be baptized by water.
  9. Believers in Christ are commanded to partake in the Lord’s Supper (communion).
  10. People receive the Holy Spirit when they put their faith in Christ.
  11. The Holy Spirit gives us gifts that we should use to minister to others.
  12. Believers in Christ have eternal life.
  13. The global Church is, together, the body of Jesus Christ, expressed in local churches.
  14. Satan exists and he is our enemy.
  15. Jesus Christ rose from the dead and ascended to heaven, where He is enthroned. He will return, personally and visibly to His Church.
